Today is one of the biggest holidays for the Orthodox church. This is a great day of Christianity and Christ’s resurrection and ascendance to heaven. I am not really sure about the exact meaning and the terminology though so keep calm while reading this please. By no means I do not desire to offend anyone.
I am now on a trip to visit my fiance in the lovely italian town of Pordenone. It is raining like hell and since she is chinese we spent the holidays eating sushi and making hot pot. Here are some of our homemade dishes
and some others in a restaurant like sushi, sashimi and other stuff (i do not recall their names!)
This Easter was unique! We enjoyed our time together and “even took a walk in the storm and drank a weird hot chocolate”!
I hope the best to all of you: health, appetite and happiness!
PS: By the way, although I am still reading the Titan, an incredible biography of John D. Rockefeller by Ron Chernow (I have read 580 out of ~ 680 pages so far…) I decided to take with me another interesting book titled Outliers by Malcolm Gladwell. The book is a scientific, sociological treatise about successful people and what makes them successful!! It was a very nice reading during my flights and waiting hours and transfer time.
